Neil, yeah. I guess it takes time  And again...the eyebrows lol! I'm surprised they've had her taping Mistresses already. Imo, she still needs more time to slim down and for someone to please get a hold of those eyebrows. I love her to death, but ya know. Just being honest.

Just wondering if anyone else ran across a site called Mediamass.com, which seems to have articles/blogs about Shannyn, referencing everything from her getting secretly married to her "dog" getting surgery. The articles claim to source tweets from Shannyn herself (and fans) on these subjects, yet when you go to her Twitter page (or check the Twitter updates that automatically post to this site), there are none to speak of. The last thing she tweeted was on Oct 1 about The End Of Love movie, so I suspect this site to be quite bogus...and weird. Her dog?? Umm...okay. I can see the 'marriage' rumor getting some traction, but a dog's surgery?  Does she even have a dog? I think she has a cat, actually. Not sure about a dog, tho. Anyhoo...just wanted to debunk some of that in case others stumbled across it. You can cross-check that 'info' pretty easily and find it's all BS.

I finally got to see it as well, and it had a lot of potential. It looked really cool as far as the filming of it and the cinematography and all. I felt like the story could have been written a bit better. They never said what happened to the world to make it apocalyptic, and they only gave one character's backstory in the beginning. I think it would have been more effective to do that with all of them, show where each of them came from and/or what they were doing just before the world went to shyte. That way you can care about them more. Shannyn was really good. Not so sure about the southern accent, myself. Seemed kinda random and needed some more practice (coming from someone who lives in GA lol). I wish they would have made Shannyn's character more badass like the other chick was. She had opportunities to bust out and kick some cannibal ass and just kinda laid there or let some bad guy overpower her. Not her fault. That's all writing and directing. But overall, I'd give it a 6 1/2 out of 10. We watched it all the way through and didn't turn it off, so that's a good sign! You can pre-order it to own on Amazon.

I don't think the actors get paid off how much money the films make (I could be wrong). From what I understand, as an armchair casting director lol, they seem to get paid up front to do the film, and the production company/investors, etc end up taking the hit when the movie doesn't gross more than they spent. It's their responsibility to recoup their own investment, which includes actors' salaries. If they don't promote (or have a decent promo budget), then of course the movie makes $20,000 and they end up in the red. The actors walk away (in most circumstances) paid regardless. That's how it works in the music biz, anyway, when making a music project. If I'm making a CD and I need outside musicians, I pay them up front to lay their track(s) on the project, and it's up to me to make that money back in future sales. Most studio musicians (unless they're really close friends of yours) won't have it any other way, particularly if they're union musicians. It stands to reason that movie projects would be the same, and I'm pretty certain she's a unionized actor. So, I doubt she's going to starve. She likely doesn't work on commission 

She does look so great when everything's in place, yes. She'll get back to it. If I remember correctly, there was only one pic (that I've ever seen or found) of her pregnant the first time, and then there were, like, none for at least a year after. I'm assuming she was probably trying to shed that weight then, too. She's older now, and it might take longer but she'll get there for sure. I say, by the summer she'll be the old Shannyn we're used to seeing, maybe even sooner.

Interesting. I'd rather she didn't do the show if it comes to pass. The movie is her all-time claim to fame, and to cling to that, 12 yrs later, by appearing in the TV adaptation would only look desperate, imo. But it's a cool idea, otherwise! I'd watch it!

They did it to Jerry Springer a few weeks ago too. They're a bunch of dicks.

Okay, she needs to get out and promote this. It looks like it could be something to give her career a boost. It's got noreworthy, known actors in it, for a change. And it looks like it could do well.

Her eyebrows...arch them please. That's all I ask lolol Thinning them and arching them will make her face look thinner while she's shedding the baby weight. Am I wrong?

Hey wow lol It's only been one weekend and 12 theatres, and it's already a quarter of what Road To Nowhere grossed in its entire run lol. Maybe a bigger release would do well. ::fingers crossed::

Kat, you have a point. I just wish she'd pick better movies. The Day seems to be the best thing she's done since Catacombs. Stealing Time looks okay, but it's one thing to have a nice script, nice location, good direction, and then it's something else entirely to have proper distribution/promotion. Without that, it doesn't matter. She's been picking things with flimsy promotion. Not sure if actors are aware of that aspect when they sign on to do a project. Maybe not. I don't know how it works, exactly. All I know is resisting creative conformity is fine, but it's also a crap shoot, a gamble. Most of the time you just end up living in the land of obscurity. For someone with sooooo much talent, I would just hate that for her.

Yeah, so they have all that, and yet this movie is opening in 10 cities??? Wth?? I'd be depressed if I were her, too. I've seen all the clips on Facebook, and so far it looks pretty good. Maybe they'll release it in more cities if it does well, but that's hard to say, since there was no promotion to begin with. What kind of backwards crap is that? I guess I'll be waiting for it to come out on video.
